We are looking for a Technical Tester for an exciting assignment with a government agency

Assignment Description

We are now looking for an experienced Technical Tester with experience in test automation to join one of our development teams working on proxy management. The assignment involves working closely with the developers in the team on test analysis, test design, and creating automated tests. You will also collaborate closely with the team's requirements analyst.

Main responsibilities:

• Create and document test cases and automate their execution (both GUI tests and API tests).
• Create test data and configure test environments.
• Coordinate and drive the testing work for the proxy management product.

To succeed in the assignment, you have:

• Basic knowledge of Java to understand and debug code.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Technical understanding of how systems interact (frontend, backend, integrations).
• The ability to analyze and understand logs and error messages.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant and current work experience as a Technical Tester in a large organization (at least 1,000 employees).
• Relevant and current work experience in test automation and relevant testing tools (e.g., ReadyAPI, Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, RestAssured, or similar).
• Relevant and current work experience in system and integration testing as well as API testing.
• Relevant and current work experience in documenting test cases, test results, and deviations in a structured manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant and current work experience in information security and regulated operations.
• Relevant and current work experience in performance, load, or security testing.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or similar.
• Work experience working within the SAFe framework.
